A Journey to Savannah, Georgia
Shortly before the world that we knew shut down in March of 2020, Sister Girl Scout Troops 3480 & 3252 took a journey down to Savannah, Georgia. They spent several years saving and many months planning this exciting trip. The memories will last forever with our girls and their leaders. Near the end of the trip, they visited Juliette’s grave to thank her and reflect on all that she did for Girl Scouts. The girls wanted to leave a little bit of them with her, so they hand made a beautiful wreath, which included: six strands of pearls (to honor her using her resources wisely), six daisy flowers (to represent our six Girl Scouts who made it) and six butterflies (to show the commitment she and the girls had to improve themselves and the environment). Their final touch was a patch that represents GSNENY.
