Camp Is-Sho-Da is situated on 104 acres of fields and woods in East
Greenbush. It has hiking trails, a 5-acre pond for swimming and
boating, a large playfield, a pavilion, a nature center, platform
tents, covered wagons, and a lodge.
Camp Is-Sho-Da has several outdoor units for visitors to enjoy. Due to lack of heating in our outdoor units, screened cabins, tenting outposts, and covered wagons are open only during the summer. All outdoor units have access to drinking water, outhouses, fire-circle, and picnic tables.
If your troop is planning overnight camping, follow all the below
Family camping will be allowed on GSNENY properties, as well as other forms of family overnights such as she and me. If you are troop camping, each family must bring their own camp gear such as tents, and family groups must stay in their own camping area. No two groups may be housed in the same unit/building.
