Girl Scouts creates a safe place for girls to be themselves, make friends, and try new things, while being supported by caring adults and working together to make the world a better place. Girl Scouts is THE best leadership-building program for Girls in the world.
And there is no better time to reach more girls with this experience than NOW.
Our communities, our counties, our countries, and our world need more Girl Scouts!
Girls are facing unprecedented mental health challenges, made worse by the pandemic. Depression, anxiety and self-harm are on the rise. Social and digital media sends a constant stream of messages that impact self-image, and confidence.
The full impact of COVID is still being uncovered and we know it impacted women and girls more so. COVID impacted BIPOC women and girls most of all.
The world has changed since 1912.
Having FUN. Making MEMORIES. Trying new things. Learning together. Learning by doing. Taking Action. Making the world a better place, starting right in each community within our 15-county Council footprint. That hasn’t changed.
Girl Scouts is evolving to meet the changing needs and mobilize the changing interests and ambitions of today’s girls.
Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York has committed to tripling our membership to reach more Girl Scouts, amplifying girl voices, enhancing our customers’ experience, improving our properties as transformational places, securing our financial situation for the future, and affirming our actions towards ensuring Girl Scouts is an inclusive experience for all.
