The benefits of experiencing the outdoors, in an all-girl environment, with the support of our phenomenal camp staff are simply the best option! Spending time in nature, whether hanging from a climbing wall or taking a walk in the woods, has been linked with better mental, emotional, and physical health. Girls unplug as they step outside of their comfort zone and create lifelong friendships, without gender bias. And of course, Girl Scout Camp is fun!

Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York (GSNENY) programs run rain or shine unless the weather would make conditions unsafe for activities planned. All GSNENY camp facilities have spaces that accommodate most inclement weather. GSNENY reserves the right to cancel any program at any time. If GSNENY cancels a program for any reason you will be notified and will receive a full refund.
Refund requests submitted in writing prior to June 15th will be honored, less the $50 deposit. Because summer camp hiring and planning takes place well in advance of the start of each session, refund requests made after June 15th will be considered on a limited case basis. No refund will be issued for no-show cancellations.
GSNENY and the departments of health that certify our camps require documentation for each camper including waivers, releases, and health records. Some forms require a signature by a healthcare provider. Any medication a camper will receive while at camp must be sent in the original packaging with signed instructions from a doctor. Forms will be made available on the GSNENY website and links will be shared with your registration confirmation.
Registrations for campers whose forms are not complete and submitted by June 1st are subject to cancellation. Please plan accordingly and leave plenty of time to complete and submit your forms.
Swimming at Camp
Swim areas at all GSNENY camps are divided into three sections. The first section is for non-swimmers. NYS Dept. of Health requires a swim test for swimmers in sections two and three. Swim tests are conducted on the first day of each camp week. Due to swim ratios and lifeguard capacity, we are unable to offer swim tests or re-tests on other days. More details about swim tests and water safety are available in the Summer Camp Parent Guides.
