Getting Started with Online Registration

Registration is a quick and easy online process! You can browse all open troops on a map, select a troop that fits your needs, and pay for membership all at once. Meeting information for each open Troop is located under Troop Details.  Currently, Troops are meeting both virtually and in person. 

Take advantage of our Extended Year Membership offer, giving you 18 months of exciting and fun Girl Scout experiences for $35 for both girls and adult volunteers.  Annual Membership (12 months beginning October 1, 2021 – September 30, 2022, is $25.

How to Register online

Under “How would you like to participate with us?”, select “Find Troops” 

Browse troops by zip code and grade and select one that looks great! Don’t worry, this selection can always be changed later. If you already know the Troop number, just enter the troop’s meeting location zip code and enter the Troop number as “Troop 0(plus the 4 digit number)

Once you find a Troop that is a good fit, just click the “+” sign to add Girls and adults.

If you don’t find a Troop that works for you, you can select to participate in Girls Scouts as an independent Girl (a non-Troop participant) or “Juliette”. Just scroll to the bottom of the Troop results and click “Apply to Participate Without a Troop”.

Create a secure account when prompted, and continue your registration.

You will hear from your new Troop leader or Juliette mentor soon!

Try coding, robotics, engineering, and more through hands-on STEM activities
Enjoy the great outdoors while learning how to protect animals and the environment
Build business smarts through the Girl Scout Cookie Program

Financial Assistance

Girl Scouts is open to all girls and adults, regardless of their income. We make funds available to support girl members or girls seeking membership to Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York, by providing supplemental resources beyond a family’s ability to pay.
