In these modules girls will learn about the various program areas offered at camp. They will explore the concepts of “Girl Led,” “Learning by Doing,” and “Cooperative Learning.” Girls will spend the week shadowing different staff members each day to gain insight on how summer camp operates. This will ensure CIT 1’s have an all-encompassing view of what it means to work at summer camp. CIT’s will design a program and implement an activity. Girls will also have the opportunity to shadow program areas during their week at camp.
• Girls will earn the LEADERSHIP certificate towards the “Counselor in Training 1” Award
• Girls will earn the LEADERSHIP “Counselor in Training 1” Award (Must complete all 4 modules to complete award)
