Attention leaders, volunteers, service unit managers, and everyone else! As of October 1, 2022, new leader training will become mandatory for all new leaders. No problem – Council will be offering these trainings to all new leaders at no cost!
Some of you have asked for the potential to hold your own new leader trainings. You are a volunteer trainer, or you are the service unit manager, or you just find it more convenient. Fear not – we have created a “Train the Trainer” course specifically geared towards Council’s New Leader Training.
This will review our new leader training and teach you some good presenter tips. You will even get time to practice your presenting skills during the course of this training!
If you would like to join our Train the Trainer and learn how to train your own new leaders, join us on August 20th at the Queensbury Service Center from 10 am to 3 pm. Lunch will be provided for you!
If you want Council to continue training your new leaders, no problem! Check our events page for our next in person or virtual new leader trainings.
