Date: Wed Aug 06, 2:00 PM EST - Fri Aug 08, 3:00 PM EST
Program Description: Set off on a magical adventure
as you build fairy houses, craft wands, and hunt for hidden treasures.
Along the way, you'll make new friends and enjoy activities like
bracelet making, a fairy dance party, and a special Fairy Friendship
Ceremony. It's a whimsical experience filled with creativity,
friendship, and fairy fun!
Unit Life:
- Unit assignments are carefully determined based on program
needs, participant numbers, camper ages and available beds, ensuring
a comfortable and well-organized experience for all campers.
- At Lake Clear there are 2 types of units with mattresses on cots
or bunkbeds: lean-tos or small cabins.
-
Lean to Units - Each lean-to unit includes 6-8
sleeping structures, with most structures sleeping four people
each. Staff will be housed in one structure within the unit,
while campers will be paired or grouped with fellow program
participants. A communal bathhouse is located nearby with flush
toilets, shower stalls and potable water for washing and
drinking.
-
Cabin units - Each cabin sleeps 10 - 16
campers, with a separate room for staff. Cabins have one single
occupant bathroom (with shower stall, flush toilet and sink),
electricity and bunks beds with mattresses for campers and
staff. A shower house with multiple private stalls and flush
toilets is available nearby.
- We will do
our best to honor buddy requests within the unit while also
encouraging new friendships and group bonding.
Payment information:
- A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure camp
registration. The balance may be paid in installments of any amount,
with the balance due in full by June 17th, 2025. All payments are
non-refundable after June 17th. Registrations not paid in full by
June 18th may be canceled. In the case of such cancellation, any
payments, minus the $100 deposit will be refunded to the original
form of payment. Registrations made after June 17th must be paid in
full at the time of registration.
Paperwork Information:
- All campers must provide annual health information, in
accordance with Department of Health, American Camp Association, and
GSNENY policies. The camp team needs detailed health information to
ensure they can meet your camper's health needs. Some forms require
a signature by a healthcare provider. Any medication (including
over-the-counter items) that a camper will receive while at camp
must be sent in the original packaging with signed orders from a
doctor. After registering for camp, you will receive further
information regarding the required forms and how to submit them. All
camp paperwork, including health histories and immunization records,
must be submitted no later than Tuesday, June 17, 2025 to allow time
to review. Any registration for which all completed paperwork has
not been received by that date is subject to cancellation.
Next steps:
- Within 7 days of your registration you will receive a Camper
and Caregiver Handbook which will help you prepare for your summer
at camp. You'll also receive links to the forms you'll need to
complete and information about pre-ordering items from our Trading
Post.
