Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts will take part in an advanced fall outdoor skills experience focused on leadership, challenge, and environmental understanding. Scouts will refine archery techniques through coached target practice, scoring challenges, and range responsibility. They will study forest ecology by identifying tree species through bark, buds, leaves, and habitat indicators while examining seasonal changes in the Adirondacks. Participants will also investigate wildlife activity by interpreting tracks, movement patterns, and other animal signs to better understand local ecosystems. This immersive program builds confidence, critical thinking, leadership, and a strong connection to the natural world.
This is not a drop-off program. Caregivers should stay with their child.
