Date: Sun Nov 01, 10:00 AM EST - Sun Nov 01, 2:00 PM EST
Join us for a hands-on outdoor experience where Girl Scouts will learn essential knot-tying skills and enjoy fishing from rowboats in a supportive environment! Participants will start by learning a variety of practical knots used in boating and fishing, such as square knots, bowlines, and clove hitches. Girls will practice these skills through fun challenges and real-life applications, building confidence and outdoor readiness. After mastering the basics, we'll head out onto the water in rowboats to try our hand at fishing. With guidance from experienced volunteers, we'll learn how to cast, bait hooks, and practice patience while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Please wear close-toed shoes (no crocs) and dress for the weather.
This program requires adults to register and participate with a child.
