Girl Scouts from Brownies through Ambassadors are invited to take their first step into the world of backpacking on this guided on-property backpacking trip! Designed for beginners, this program provides a safe, supportive environment to learn essential outdoor skills while enjoying the beauty of nature. We'll learn the basics of backpacking, including packing, gear selection, and campsite setup, practice trail safety, navigation, and Leave No Trace principles, and experience hiking with a loaded pack and building confidence in the outdoors.
This is not a drop-off program. Caregivers should register and stay with their child.
