
Welcome to Camp Is-Sho-Da! Located on 100 acres of fields and woods in East Greenbush, Camp IsSho-Da is a great option to enjoy all the best of camp. With hiking trails, a five-acre pond for water activities, a large playfield, and facilities for nature study and artmaking, there is always something fun to do. Rustic screened enclosed shelters, platform tents, and covered wagons offer a variety of options for camping overnights.
At Camp Is-Sho-Da campers can expect to swim every day in our pond and tie dye every Wednesday. Campers can also try our low ropes course and complete science experiments and arts and crafts.

Camp Is-Sho-Da Summer Camp Week 2: C.A.M.P - $325 member/$425 nonmember
Fairies and Fireflies (Daisy) - $325 member/$425 nonmember: Spend the week playing with the fairies, writing letters to Fred the Unicorn, and learning the true magic of camp! Campers will also have the chance to make their own fairy wings, build fairy houses all over camp, and create a fairy friend.
Photo Stars (Junior): Future photographers! - $355 member/$455 nonmember: This week you will get to use cameras to take pictures of your week and spend Thursday making a scrapbook of your camp memories!
Survivor Camp Is-Sho-Da Edition (Senior/Ambassador) - $345 member/$445 nonmember: Take on the survivor challenge at camp. Spend time learning outdoor survival skills such as fire building, shelter building, and emergency preparedness. Spend the overnight in tents, at a unique place of your patrol's choice, while planning and cooking your own meals for the overnight.

Plushie Pals (Brownie) - $360 member/$460 nonmember: This week at camp each camper will get a new plushie friend to make projects with and for. Spend the week with your new friend, making them crafts, a sleeping bag for the overnight, and showing them around camp! Plushies will live at camp and go home on Friday.
Camp Is-Sho-Da Survivor (Cadette) - $345 member/$445 nonmember: Take on the survivor challenge at camp. Spend time learning outdoor survival skills such as fire building, shelter building, and emergency preparedness. Spend the overnight in tents, at a unique place of your patrol's choice, while planning and cooking your own meals for the overnight.
ISD Leadership (Senior/Ambassador) - $325 member/$425 nonmember: Do you have what it takes to be a leader? In this program, you will take the teen leader intro course and Silver and Gold workshop. You will spend time shadowing counselors and program staff and run an activity for younger Girl Scouts.

Camp Is-Sho-Da Summer Camp Week 4: C.A.M.P - $325 member/$425 nonmember
Weird Science (Daisy) - $325 member/$425 nonmember: Volcanos, slime, and spaceships! Spend the week at camp as a scientist experimenting and learning! Explode glitter into the sky, make special slime recipes, and design your own spaceship.
Wildplay (Senior/Ambassador) - $390 member/$490 nonmember: Practice your team-building skills and try the low ropes course at camp. Then take a trip to Wildplay at Thatcher Park for some high adventures on Wednesday 7/26. The camp fee includes transportation and admission.

Brownies on the Move (Brownie) - $325 member/$425 nonmember: Explore the trails at Camp Is-Sho-Da this week! Learn about how to prepare for hiking adventures, and orienteering, and create your own hiking first aid kit. Campers will explore a different trail every day.
Camp Chefs (Cadette) - $345 member/$445 nonmember: Do you like cooking and trying new snacks? In this program, campers will experience different cooking techniques (pie irons, dutch ovens, box ovens, etc.), fire building, and safety skills at camp. They'll prepare camp snacks and take part in a Chopped-style cooking challenge!

Doodling Daisies (Daisy) - $325 member/$425 nonmember: Do you love arts and crafts? Do you want to learn a new craft and practice your art skills? In this program, you will spend time crafting masterpieces with a variety of techniques/mediums and even participate in a paint and juice activity.
Playfield Adventures (Junior) - $325 member/$425 nonmember: In this program, Juniors will explore all parts of the playfield. You will learn new games, improve your archery skills and participate in a competition. Then try several of the low ropes elements while strengthening your team-building skills.
Lights, Camera, Action! (Senior/Ambassador) - $345 member/$445 nonmember Casting the Camp Is-Sho-Da Players! Campers will work together to learn all aspects of putting on a show. This week all actors will practice their parts based on a script, create costumes and sets, and then perform at the end of the week for your audience.

Camp Safari (Brownie) - $325 member/$425 nonmember: Unicorns, foxes, mermaids, and squirrels! This week is all about animals at camp! Learn about animal identification, habitats, look for animals on the property, and complete crafts of your choice of your favorite animal!
Lights, Camera, Action! (Cadette) - $345 member/$445 nonmember: Casting the Camp Is-Sho-Da Players! Campers will work together to learn all aspects of putting on a show. This week all actors will practice their parts based on a script, create costumes and sets, and then perform at the end of the week for your audience.

Safety at camp is a primary concern. Automobile traffic impacts staffing and can disturb the camp environment. To keep everyone safe and to minimize wait times, families are strongly encouraged to utilize buses if they are not using early/late care. If you do choose to drive your child to camp please consider carpooling.

Every Wednesday, campers who are Brownies or older may choose to stay overnight at camp. Campers cook their dinner and breakfast over a fire in their unit and join the whole camp for campfire skits and a sing-a-long.
Please note: Day Camp overnights, Early/Late Care, and busing are listed as separate events in the system. You must register individually for these options.

Campers not ready to stay the night are welcome to stay for the Wednesday campfire and be picked up at 8:30 pm.

Drop off your camper in the main parking lot before normal drop-off starts and pick up after normal pick-up ends. Campers in Early/Late Care will sit with camp staff and have activities to do.
Early Care (early drop-off 7:30 am - 8:30 am) - Late Care (late pick-up 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm)
