Mini Session: Together at Camp (Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Adults)
Two is better than one and what better way to experience camp than with your favorite grown-up? Come to camp with your adult buddy and make sure you both bring your sense of adventure! You'll get the chance to bond with your fellow campers and make memories that will last a lifetime while you enjoy fun activities at camp together. This three-day, two-night experience provides the perfect opportunity to meet new people and form lasting friendships and is a great way to get to know camp for the first time.
Mini Session: Fairy Friends (Brownies)
Set off on a magical adventure as you build fairy houses, craft wands, and hunt for hidden treasures. Along the way, you'll make new friends and enjoy activities like bracelet making, a fairy dance party, and a special Fairy Friendship Ceremony. It's a whimsical experience filled with creativity, friendship, and fairy fun!
C.A.M.P. Creative Adventures and Magical Possibilities (Juniors)
Get ready for an unforgettable summer with our signature camp experience! Campers will have regular swim time and will work with their patrols to create a schedule that includes all their camp favorites. Activities include boating, hiking, arts & crafts, science experiments, nature study, games, tie-dye, archery, and more! It's a week packed with adventure and creativity!
Paul Bunyon Adventure Camp (Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors)
Join us where campers embark on an exciting journey into the outdoors! This hands-on program, inspired by the legendary tales of Paul Bunyan, focuses on developing essential outdoor skills including fire building, knot tying, and outdoor cooking, all while embracing environmental stewardship. Campers will stay in classic Adirondack lean-to units, enjoying campfire storytelling, night hikes, and nature art projects. Each participant will earn the classic Paul Bunyan patch from the GSNENY archives, symbolizing their adventurous spirit and skills. Don’t miss this unforgettable experience filled with fun, friendship, and a love for nature!
Mariners (Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors)
Join the Girl Scout Mariners Sailing Program for an exhilarating nautical adventure where girls of all experience levels can develop essential sailing skills, teamwork, and basic water rescue techniques. Participants will learn knot tying, sail handling, navigation, and how to respond to emergencies while enjoying the great outdoors in a supportive environment led by knowledgeable instructors. By working together in crews, girls will build friendships and confidence, culminating in earning a Mariners pin to celebrate their achievements. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sailor, this program is the perfect way to set sail for adventure!
Counselor in Training 1 (Seniors, Ambassadors)
Young leaders in the CIT 1 Program explore what being a counselor at Girl Scout camp is all about! As a CIT 1, you will learn how to engage younger campers. You'll interview, observe, and assist camp staff; lead group activities, and learn to make a difference with your fellow CITs. As you develop your leadership skills, you'll be a role model for younger campers! CIT 1 can be completed at either overnight or day camp. Participants will receive the CIT 1 pin at the end of the week.
Counselor in Training 2 (Ambassadors)
Continue your leadership journey in the CIT 2 Program and perfect your camp counselor skills. As a CIT 2 Girl Scouts will plan and lead activities for younger campers, including a service project. Assist camp staff as you practice coordinating schedules, learn effective group management techniques, and help campers resolve conflicts. You will continue to serve as a role model for younger campers and expand your leadership skills. The CIT 2 program spans two consecutive weeks of overnight camp, with a weekend break. (Weeks 1 & 2 at Lake Clear Camp). Participants will receive the CIT 2 pin after completing the two-week session.
