Welcome to Summer Camp at Lake Clear! Situated on 91 scenic acres of land on a peninsula on Lake Clear, just 20 miles from Lake Placid, Lake Clear Camp is an Adirondack gem. The camp is surrounded by breathtaking state land in the Adirondack Park, adjacent to the St. Regis Canoe area. Facilities at Lake Clear Camp include renovated cabins with full bathrooms, a dining hall, a health center, and buildings for programs and activities. The property features an area for swimming and boating, hiking, and primitive camping.
At this camp, campers will do crafts, experiments, and swim in our lake every day! Unique to Lake Clear Camp is our Mariners: A sailing program where campers learn how to sail a boat!
August 4th – 6th Water Bugs Mini-Camp – This splash-tastic 3-day, 2-night camp adventure is the perfect introduction to the world of camp. In our picturesque lake, campers will enjoy refreshing swim lessons, glide over the water’s surface in canoes or kayaks, and embrace the enchantment of lakeside living - but that's just the tip of the iceberg! Campers will embark on a deep-sea expedition, exploring underwater ecosystems and competing in lively water games that'll put their agility and teamwork to the test. August 7th – 9th Science Explorers Mini-Camp - Pack your curiosity and join us for a 3-day, 2-night whirlwind of scientific adventures! Emerging leaders will participate in workshops, honing skills in communication, teamwork, and decision-making, guided by our experienced camp staff. But it’s not all about training: you’ll also engage in a whirlwind of camper activities, from creative arts & crafts to thrilling outdoor adventures, where you’ll discover the art of creating a positive camp environment.
The CIT I program offers Seniors the perfect blend of growth and fun, empowering them to become confident and capable leaders while making cherished memories with their fellow Girl Scouts.

August 4th – 9th Waterfront-In-Training - Dive into this specialized leadership program created for those with aspirations of becoming skilled lifeguards or camp waterfront staff. This camp week covers essential water rescue skills, First Aid and CPR certification, water safety, and lifeguard ethics in accordance with the American Red Cross standards. Build your leadership skills, teamwork, communication, and professionalism at the waterfront. At the conclusion of this program, campers will be equipped with the knowledge and skills that are required to become a confident and capable lifeguard and will have the opportunity to take the lifeguard certification test. August 11th – 16th Mariners - Campers are in for a week of high-adventure water fun as they immerse themselves in thrilling water-based activities. From honing their swimming and water safety skills to learning rescue techniques, sailing, and navigation, this program offers a dynamic blend of water adventures. We will set our course sailing and focus on learning the basics as outlined in the GSUSA Mariners guidebook. Girls who complete the basic criteria will earn their prestigious Mariner’s pin, a symbol of their newfound expertise and love for the open water. Join us for an unforgettable 3-day, 2-night adventure filled with all the wonders of camp life. Our camp staff will lead you through a fantastic array of guided activities, ensuring that your camp experience is both fun and educational. Enjoy delicious meals together in our cozy dining hall and gather 'round the campfire for sing-alongs that will create cherished memories. If you're seeking a bit of quiet and solitude amidst nature, that's perfectly fine, too. There's ample time for self-planned activities, allowing you to tailor your family's camp experience to your preferences. Come make lasting memories and connect with nature and each other at our Family Camp - where adventure and relaxation come together! One member of each party must be a registered Girl Scout member. $195 per person
